Hi, I'm Erika and I'm a logistics planner in the US Air Force Reserves which I participate in once a year in Tampa, FL. I have been in the Reserves for almost a year now and prior to that I spent four years active duty, mostly overseas in Turkey and Italy. During the rest of my time I enjoy traveling, drawing, horseback riding, making jewelry, running, reading, writing, making new friends and many other things. I love drinking smoothies and tea, crystal shops are fun, yoga is great too. I also love to visit botanical gardens and beautiful parks and scenic nature areas. I'm an Aries sun, Pisces moon, Sagittarius rising and my life path number is 8. I'm also an Enneagram number 9 and have been categorized as an ENFJ.

Music, Movies, and Books

I try to listen to music that has a good message as much as I can. For example, Nahko and Trevor Hall. I also enjoy some alternative music, hip hop, and rap. Most of the time I use Pandora and have stations that I switch around on there. Some of my current stations include: Nahko and Medicine for the People, Feels Like Summer by Weezer, This is America by Childish Gambino, Oh Devil by Electric Guest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, on the way to meet up for a date, the driver in front of me veered off the road. I stopped of course and it was this little old man who had just come from wine tasting. Luckily he had no serious damage and his car wasn't too bad but it was pretty far stuck in the ditch so I gave him a ride into town and helped him call his wife so he could get home safely.

Teach, Learn, Share

Coffee, chocolate, tea and smoothies are all places I love to find. I especially love those adorable hole-in-the-wall type shops. Hiking is an activity that I enjoy as well as botanical gardens and art museums.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to read, so I'm always up to share what I've been reading and hear some suggestions for books I haven't read yet. I'm also pretty knowledgeable when it comes to horses, so if there are any opportunities in the local area I'd be happy to help out or even give a basic lesson to someone. I make jewelry too, granted I just started, but I would of course be happy to share what I've learned.
