About Me

I've just moved to Denver to start pilot school and to get flight hours on the Front Range. My heart's true calling lies in the embrace of the great outdoors. If I could, I'd trade my shoes for hiking boots and embark on endless trails. I've got quite the reputation for befriending squirrels and feeding them snacks. 🐿️

When I'm not off climbing mountains or decoding cultural enigmas, you'll likely find me cozied up with a book that's more well-traveled than I am. I consider myself a lifelong learner. I also am a lover of yoga, and recently started exploring the world of breathwork – because who doesn't want to exhale stress and inhale positivity?

I co-pilot an SEO and Digital Marketing Company (indexo.us) alongside my fantastic partner. We're on a mission to connect clients to the right company, one keyword at a time. Together, we're like the dynamic duo of rankings and optimization. 💻🌐

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not just after the typical social experience. I'm on a mission to connect, to share, and to soak up the kind of experiences that can only come from meeting fellow explorers like you.

I've been hosting surfers with my partner for a couple years, but I have yet to use my own account! You can see his profile for more reviews. https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/yeezus42

Music, Movies, and Books

From the energetic beats of the Mexican band "Daniel, Me Estás Matando" to the ethereal melodies of Natalia Lafourcade, my musical tastes are as diverse as the landscapes I've hiked through.

You'll often find me lost in lo-fi hip hop or jazz, especially when I'm in the zone, working on projects or studying up a storm. It's like my personal soundtrack to life, keeping me in sync with the rhythm of my thoughts and the tasks at hand.

Movies might not be my main squeeze, but there's one that has left an indelible mark on me – "Wild Tales." This masterpiece of a film takes me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

Now, when it comes to books, well, that's hard. There's been a lot of gems I've had the pleasure of reading. Recently, "The Giver of Stars" by Jojo Moyes sent me on an emotional rollercoaster. I'm talking about ugly-crying-in-public kind of emotional journey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A stumble into the beauty of the Himalayas led me to an experience that will forever be etched in my heart. While trekking in the Himalayas, I stumbled upon a hidden gem – a small school tucked away in a small village.

I found myself randomly embraced by a local family who opened their home and hearts to me. For an entire month, I became part of their daily life, immersing myself in their traditions, sharing laughter, and building connections that transcended language barriers.

But that's not all – during my stay, I had the unique privilege of contributing to the community in a way that resonated deeply with me. Helping raise alpacas and harvesting veggies alongside my newfound friends, I found a passion of teaching English to kids at the local school. Their bright eyes and eager smiles were a testament to the universal language of curiosity and learning.

The experience wasn't just about what I gave; it was about the lessons I received in return. I learned about the power of community, the resilience of people living in harmony with nature, and the profound impact that kindness and shared experiences can have on our lives.
