About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world and do as much good as I can before being sucked into a corporate life.

ABOUT ME

I have just graduated from U of T. I am travelling to Australia for 2 months before moving to Nepal for a year to intern with the World Wildlife Fund.

PHILOSOPHY

I am always open to new ideas and thoughts on life and the way the world should be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just been told about the CS2 Project. Right now I am travelling but when I get back to Canada and get a house I plan to open my spare rooms to wayward voyagers in need of a place to rest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not couchsurfed through CS2 but I have lived with two families in France who were warmhearted and generous. They showed me their nation and I fell in love. I also spent 3 days with a friend I met in France at his house in Switzerland which was incredible. I have opened my house in the past to a young man named Gregoire from Lille, France. When I was in Australia my good friend Jono let me stay at his appartment with his brother for a month.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was scuba diving in Indonesia a couple years ago and on my second dive we went down to a reef about 30ft below the surface. The current was quite strong and I started to get pulled along the bottom of the ocean so fast that I couldn't even slow down to stay with my group. Eventually we all got pulled apart and when we surfaced we had been dragged 2 km from our entry location in 10minutes. It was wild. Apart from that I have climbed the Rocky Mountains, canoed the rivers of Alberta and worked at the worlds best Paediatric Hospital. All of these have been mindblowing experiences that I will never forget.
