About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Fun and family in Northern Europe!
ABOUT ME
After lots of school and work, I want to get out of Canada for a bit and let off some steam. I'm heading to Europe, starting with Oktoberfest in Munich and then ending in Copenhagen. I want to see it all, eat the food, drink the beer, see family in Denmark and have a great time.
I'm pretty laid back, I'm always eager to see new things and meet interesting people. I'm always happy to enjoy a pint and a good story with friends.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to learn something from everyone I meet. People never stop surprising me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just made my own account!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My ex and I hosted 5 or 6 groups of couchsurfers when we lived in Kelowna, BC, and really enjoyed our experiences. It was great to meet so many positive people and it inspired me to change my life so I would be able to travel.
Interests
On the sporty side, I play a lot of soccer, squash and volleyball. I'm always up for a good movie, I love to snowboard and I read like crazy. I also collect a lot of art books - stuff like band posters, cool graffiti and interesting photography. In a perfect world I'd have huge library with a big oak desk and a soft leather chair. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movie would have to be Caddyshack. It's super old, but I think it's the funniest thing in the universe. Old kung fu movies are fun, too.
For music, I'm all over the place. Some days it's weird techno, other days it's Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon. Current favorites are Little Dragon, Tosca and Dengue Fever.
For books, I like Robert Heinlein, Terry Pratchett and Alan Moore, among many others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Shinjuku station, downtown Tokyo in the middle of rush hour.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, there isn't much I can't do to a computer - I'll trade computer help for beer, no problem. :)
