COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My Couchsurfing experience have only been really good so far. I had my first encounters while visiting London for the 2012 Olympics. Since then, I would say Couchsurfing will be a part of the rest of my life as a traveller.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: swedish female singer-songwriters, such as Taken by Trees, Jenny Wilson, Anna Järvinen, Laleh, Anna Ternheim and Britta Persson. Rock legends from the 70's (David Bowie, The Doors, Janis Joplin, etc). Or anything that makes me dance!

Movies: Forrest Gump, The Wizard from Oz, The Hours or anything by Pedro Almodovar.

Books: I'm reading a lot, mostly novels written by contemporary swedish authors. Michael Cunningham is a favourite among english-writing authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited a small mountain village on the border between the chinese provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan. The village was founded in the 50s and people who suffered from leprosy where forced to live there and still does. Felt like journey to that village took us to the world's very end. Despite from that and the village's miserable situation, the people who lived there were warm-hearted and loving. I will never forget that trip!

Neither will I forget when I stood just a few meters away from a rhino in Lake Nakuro National Park in Kenya. Crazy!

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Malaysia, Norway, Poland, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Sweden, United States
