Overview
About Me
My name is Erik, and I live way up in the mountains in Norway, in a small winter destination called Hovden. I work as a manager in one of the local grocery stores, and I'm also running a small music festival called Rekordfestivalen that takes place in the end of august each year.
On my spare time I play bassguitar in a local coverband, participate in a yearly variety show. All winter long I try to go skiing as often as possible, but I also I play football and poker some times. I engage some in the local politics for the liberal party Venstre.
I am single, because the only girl for me is my cat, Bobbie.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet new people from new cultures and would like to have friends all over the world. I would also like to show people what a beautiful place Hovden is. I hope to go on a couchsurfing trip alone some day, maybe in Europe or Asia.

Music, Movies, and Books
Recently I have watched a lot of Hbo series like Sopranos, The Wire and Handmaids tale. I also enjoy a good documentary. Movies I like comedies, drama or war/crime.
I read all kinds of books, and me and some friends actually created a book club (halfway as a joke) where we try to read more of the classics like 1984 or Lord of the flies. The category I have read most about is probably books about World War 2.
