About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Starting a life in Rome.

ABOUT ME

Happy and social Swede, who moved to Italy for a year of Erasmus studies in architecture. And I LOVED IT! So here I stayed.

Creative in different ways. I used to be a pastry chef for some years, now I'm back into architecture. I make clothes as well, but unfortunately my sewing machine stays in Sweden.

PHILOSOPHY

You can do anything you like. Just give it a try!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When traveling around in Italy I'd like to meet people, and see as much as possible! When I have a place of my own, I will be able to pa back:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When arriving in Ferrara I had some great help from a girl I met through Couchsurfing. She hosted me for three weeks, while I could look around for my own appartment. She also introduced me to a lot of her friends, and was kind of my personal guide. Without her my beginning here would have been so much harder!

Interests

Love architecture, art, fashion. Excercise and listen to music. Loves good food, I was a pastry chef before, now I study to be an architect.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: a mix of pretentious electronic pop and cheesy Swedish schlager.

Books: right now a lot of architecture theory. Loved Orlando by Virginia Woolf, just read it last autumn

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I surfed for a week in France many years ago. Incredibly difficult, but a fantastic feeling. And I spent some hours at Berlin's Berghain last summer and had the best music/lighting/dancing experience of my life. Then I went to Italy for a year of erasmus studies and a great adventure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about obscure architect fact, making fabulous pastries and the swedish language of course.

And most of all right now, I'd love to speak Italian, to improve what I know. And to see different parts of Italy.
