Interests

I'm something of a wilderness junkie. Spend my time working and playing outdoors--backpacking, biking, kayaking, and canoeing mostly. Other turn-ons: good music, fine beer (and making it!), and like-minded people.

Music: I love it. Everything from Gillian Welch to Atmosphere, Townes Van Zandt to Augustus Pablo, John Lee Hooker to the Gourds, Charlie Parker to Hank Williams, Bob Dylan to Del McCoury, Steve Earle to Manu Chao. You get the idea.

Reads: Cormac McCarthy, Kurt Vonnegut, David Sedaris, Douglas Coupland, Grahmm Greene, Hunter Thompson, Ed Abbey, and John Steinbeck are some of the favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I managed to spend about seven years without really "living" anywhere. Half the year working seasonal wildlife jobs, the other half traveling.
