About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning to solve problems (maybe eventually the small issue of climate change?) and becoming as strong as I possibly can.

ABOUT ME

I'm a student in Lund, meaning that I spend a lot of time studying (yes, actually studying). Of course there is time for other stuff as well, such as having a relaxed time in parks, going to pubs and whatever else that might come up!

My main interest has for a long time been music, playing the guitar with my friends and going to shows, and even setting some up! What's more fun than stagediving and jumping around like crazy to some heavy band in a sweaty, crowded venue?

In contrast to my interest in natural science I really enjoy reading fantasy novels. Fantasy not meaning Harry Potter. Atleast not ONLY Harry Potter. More like dragons and swords.

I also aspire to become a competitive powerlifter, which basically means that I like lifting heavy stuff at the gym.

PHILOSOPHY

Open minded and trying to never judge a person too quickly. I'm also a vegan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've only surfed, but I look forward to hosting when I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experiences was in Melbourne, where I lived for 5 months. I liked that especially because it allowed for us to see each other many times after the initial couchsurfing and making some really good friends!

Interests

Music, playing the guitar, skiing (on snow and water), longboarding (recently started skating also), surfing, lifting heavy stuff, natural science.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music?
Hardcore (punk and metal crossover, sort of).
50 Lions, Backtrack, Turnstile, early Comeback Kid, Terror.

Prog-Tech-Deathcore.
Born of Osiris, Veil of Maya, Within the Ruins.

Acoustic folk/singer-songwriter:
Håkan Hellström, Passenger, Elliot Smith, Tallest Man On Earth.

Though I love any band in any genre live!

Books?
Overall a fantasy nerd, but my favourite book series is without a doubt The Wheel of Time.

Movies?
Taste varying with movies like Inception, Fight Club, Superbad and How High.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best experiences I've had is the time I spent on Heron Island in the Great Barrier Reef when travelling Australia with my family. Simply the most beautiful place I've ever been to.

Another thing would be when I lived on a raft on the Amazon River, swimming with piranhas and other life threatening animals... Unfortunately only as a baby (awesome parenting right there), so it might not count as I can't say I remember much. Nothing, actually. Cool story though.

Teach, Learn, Share

I always try to improve my cooking and I love practicing on hosts!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Guadeloupe, Indonesia, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom
