About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Showing hospitality

ABOUT ME

I have spent a lot of time in Latin America when I was studying (I could do that because I studied Anthropology) and years after that. It is nice to host people and make them feel at home. Couchsurfing makes travelling more human in a way.
I am interested in a lot of things.
Not a party-animal but yes, I maybe like to have a drink and even more to go out and move.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I am working freelance I can not guarantee full-day entertainment, but I am sure it is possible to show you around in Utrecht, eat together and make your stay comfortable.
I notices I had my account blocked for a while but now I'm back here in Utrecht and have plenty of space.
I'm on couchsurfing because I think it brings more then just the musea and other attractions to your trip.
I do think though that when you can afford it, we should stay in hostels etc. in countries like Marocco, Nicaragua or Cambodja to bring some money and work in exchange for a beautiful experience!

I am looking for nice people, not for people looking for a bargain! So far this has never happened fortunately :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had some guests and it was a good experience for all of us. I was hosted in Berlin and my host there was very easy and generous, also Belgium and France were great experiences!

Interests

Amongst others development of ourselves and our society, health, exploration, freedom and equality.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: samsara, as it is in heaven, kungfu panda, il postino, crouching tiger hidden dragon, etc. etc. (there's so much...)
Music: there's so much! fipradio is a favourite station of mine.
Books: There are a lot of good books, I read more non-fiction though.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer friendliness and travelling- and lifestories and maybe even advice ;-) I might have a spare bike you can use.
I would like to find out what you are travelling for and what keeps you moving, and maybe improve my language-skills.

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany, Guatemala, Peru

Countries I’ve Lived In

Netherlands, Nicaragua, Suriname
