ABOUT ME

I'm a nerd, who tries to be a hippie :) I broke out of my nutshell in the last years and sniff every flower, that life offers me (including real flowers).

I like nature, and I like relaxed people. And I like to relax with people in nature.

PHILOSOPHY

It's not worth it, to have fear. Saying yes to everything that happens to you, even the bad things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once, me and a friend were on a bike-tour in Northern Germany, but had no shelter for the night. We stood a little helplessly in a small village, and a woman asked us, what we're searching for. After a short time, she said: "No problem, you can just camp in our garden!" We were also allowed to use the bathrom, the TV and the fridge of the family. That was a wonderful experience that I not have expected in a country like Germany :)

Intereses

Too much for one life.

I produce a lot of podcasts (www.funkup.me) and draw comics (www.elfenbeinbungalow.de).

I like to read Science Fiction, Philosophy (Nietzsche, Deleuze, Foucault, ...) and comic-books. When the weather is good, I go out for Geocaching.

Music is my drug! I listen to nearly five albums a day. I love to dance to Funk and Hip Hop, and I'm also a DJ (Funk, Psychedelic, Prog) - if you like to listen: www.mixcloud.com/Crimsonaut/

Every movie by Terry Gilliam, Sergio Leone, Andrej Tarkowsky, Stanley Kubrick and Alfred Hitchcock is GREAT.

My favourite music-genre is Progressive Rock (Genesis, King Crimson, Yes, Mike Oldfield, Gentle Giant, Alan Parsons Projct, ...), but I'm also a fan of british-folk-rock (Steeleye Span, Incredible String Band, ...), Funk (Funkadelic, Cymande, ...), Psychedelic (Pink Floyd, Byrds, Kaleidoscope, ...), Krautrock (Can, Amon Düül II, ...), Postrock (GYBE, Explosions In The Sky, ...) and Black Metal. In general: I like everything from the 60s/70s.
