About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep things in perspective

ABOUT ME

We'll......hmmmmmm?
I am the oldest of 5 kids (1 adopted) in our family, which has given me god like patience. I grew up in Wisconsin, moved to Minnesota for college, and now study human movement at the University of Colorado. I enjoy playing basketball, soccer(futbol). In winter I ski (both nordic and alpine) and in summer I mountain bike. I am pretty much your cookie cutter Boulderite.

PHILOSOPHY

STICK IT TO THE MAN !!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It has been while since I have participated in the CS scene. A few years ago I did lots of surfing as well as a little hosting. Now that I'm in Boulder I am opening up this opportunity once again.

Interests

I like trying out new sports, games, and things of that sort. I also enjoy traveling (DUH) whether it's by car, train, horse, submarine, whatever (I've never actually been in a submarine). I also LOVE snow and the mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

My top 3 in no particular order: Italian Job (with Mark Walberg and a bunch of Mini Coopers), Green Street Hooligans and The Life Aquatic.
Music: I enjoy classical music, Indie Rock, classic rock, and most of all euro-trash. I also enjoy anything live.
Books: Anything that leaves you with a new perspective on life when you are done reading

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Met the President of Costa Rica one night while hanging outside my hotel drinking a beer. She was having dinner at a friends house and when leaving saw an obvious foreigner and wanted to work on her English I guess.

Teach, Learn, Share

Do you really know why you sneeze when you walk out in the bright sunlight? I know and if we get together I can tell you about it.

I like to think of myself as an open-minded person so if you have something wacky to teach me, sweet!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge of Boulder, the surrounding area, and the mountains in general.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
