About Me
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Berlin, Germany and moved to Boston, USA for college, where I studied Comparative Literature and Illustration. I graduated in May 2014 and am taking a year off to travel. Permanent address of residence? Lacking. I am greatly enjoying my temporary nomadic status. It has been such a fabulous experience so far--the people, the outdoors, foreign customs--and I look forward to more of it all! Track my travels here: http://charuguay.wordpress.com/
Interests
I am a big soccer fan. I like to play, watch--whatever! I am also an illustrator and find myself drawing a lot, though less now during my travels (feel free to check out my website: http://cargocollective.com/erikwiedenmann). I also like to run. Can't go more than a few days without it. And for a change in altitude and pace, I greatly enjoying going hiking, too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In June, I visited the magical Desert of Atacama in Northern Chile. I wasn't initially going to go, but the trek up from Santiago turned out to be well worth it. The variation of different kind of landscapes was amazing. And of course, what about getting into hot thermal waters when the outside temperature is around 0 degrees! Again, for more on that, see my blog (above).
