CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to introduce as many people to the Amazon Rainforest as possible. I moved here in January 2018 and opened a Hostal, Lodge and Jungle Tour and Expedition business.

Through Couchsurfing, my costs are more than half the price of the Lodges here in the Amazon Jungle, agencies in Iquitos, online booking sites or international agencies.

Bunkbed stays start from 75 soles per night and can sleep up to 11 people.
Private bungalows are 150 soles per person per night and can sleep groups of 3-6.
There is space on my land to pitch a tent for 30 soles per person per night.
My day tours start from 340 soles per person for groups of 1-3. For groups of 4-6 it's 240 soles per person and groups of 7 or more 180 soles per person.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner can be purchased from a restaurant at the lodge.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by hosting couch surfers who travel for a number of reasons, i.e- economical opportunities, sightseeing or just trying to better themselves by expanding their informational horizons through travelling. During my time in London, I've had a great London tutor and am willing to pass on some of his closest Trade Secrets....lol... And I always promote a "Can Do".... "good time" atmosphere....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed and hosted surfers through friendships, acquaintances, friends of friends- since I was a teenager. First around the United States, then South America, Europe and now again back in South America.

The best time of my life was couch (hammock) surfing in the jungles near Iquitos and Chino, Peru......

I can usually teach what not to do...lol....also how to think critically and rationally (but only after doing something wacky) and I can learn almost anything; of course in the company of a great teacher;))
