I’m Eri and I’m an insatiably curious person.
I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, and grew up attending international and American schools there. I’d like to think that I got the best of both worlds: my politeness and respectfulness from Japanese culture & open-minded-ness and outgoing-ness from my western education/international environment at school.

I believe that there is an opportunity to learn in every place you go and everyone you meet. This is why I’m very fascinated by traveling, being immersed in other cultures, and conversing with new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting locals (or new people who are not new to the area) because obviously they are knowledgeable about the places I visit! I thought, what better way to do that than to utilize this platform. I think Couchsurfing will help me to continue to make friends from all over the world!
