For a stranger it's probably good to know that I'm a quiet person. I value sustainable development and try to keep a global perspective. Although I'm rather introverted, it always suprises me how interesting it is to meet people from other countries!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been a host for a few times, it has been quite nice! It's like picking up a hitch-hiker: you can talk about anything without thinking about your reputation. :) On my own journeys I mostly sleep in my car or some cheap hotel, but I'd like to try couchsurfing one of these days.

Interests

I'm a good listener. I listen all the time. All noise is interesting, and complete silence is even more interesting to listen. :)

My grandmother died in the age of 98, witnessing Stalin's percecutions in Russia in 1930's and World War II. I learnt quite a lot from her and I would be happy to clarify some aspects of both finnish and russian culture for visitors.
