Overview
About Me
After living in East Tennessee for 7 years, I recently moved to Winston-Salem, NC, where I will begin work as a medical provider. Since college, I have found as many opportunities as possible to see the world--a study aboard program to the Middle East, a biology camping trip out in western US, a public health internship in Bolivia, a medical rotation in Honduras, and most recently a 3 week journey through Spain and Morocco. My husband, Tyler, grew up in Kenya and since has returned to Africa several times. He is a talented carpenter, mechanic, handyman, craftsman--he makes some beautiful things! We love adventuring together, getting outside, learning about other cultures and ourselves in the process.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because the more I travel, the more I humbly learn about the world and myself--and that can only be a good thing. I appreciate a community geared toward open hospitality that isn't hinged on expecting anything in return other than for open doors, kindness, and good conversation.
