Music, Movies, and Books

I will listen to and enjoy almost any kind of music, and am always up for learning about new artists and bands. Left to my own devices, I listen to a lot of alternative, indie, pop, and folk music. Some of my current favorite bands are X-Ambassadors, Twenty One Pilots, and Walk the Moon. I also listen to a lot of traditional Irish instrumental music (Lunasa, Bothy Band).

I will admit that my favorite movies are probably all animated (Ratatouille, Up, and How to Train Your Dragon come to mind...)

Favorite books are a little hard for me to pick, but some recent favorites include Turn Right at Machu Picchu, Fooling Houdini, and Life of Pi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While working as a zip line guide, I helped during the rescue of a guest who had a stroke on the course.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have played/play 6 instruments (piano, violin, trombone, penny whistle, Scottish Highland bagpipes, and Uilleann pipes). I am up for learning new instruments and/or sharing what I know!
