About Me

Well, I guess the first thing is that I love exploring new places and meeting new people. It's always exiting to learn something new. Wether it's a person, a culture, a language or anything else!
I'm a very creative person, I enjoy making music and sketching in my free time.
I know how hard it can be to be (or feel) alone in a new country, because I've been there. But at the end of the day you can learn from everything, especially bad experiences and no day is 100% bad. There's always at least 1% that's been good. And my philosophy: nothing is endless.
So focus on the good moments, while you have them, and stay strong in the bad ones, 'cause you won't have them forever!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is the essence of that beautiful life of ours! But most decent travelers do not own a lot of money. And it's a perfectly good way to meet new people. To learn about the country from another side of view. To not support capitalism by spending money on way to expensive hotels or hostels (yes I do have an issue with that haha). The community on Couchsurfing is fantastic! There are so many great people in this world. Uniting for one cause: seeing this world. Exploring it. Living the life that was given to us.

Music, Movies, and Books

42 would have been an old answer of mine. Not is anymore. I do love the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy.
b u t: Haruki Murakami just blows it. His books take my breath away.
On music, well I cannot say much about this, because there is so much wonderful music in this world and it also always depends on the situation, but for now I'll say: funk and indie and jazz. So much funk and indie...
And books over movies, but music over books.
