Originally from beautiful Vancouver, Canada, BC will always have a special place in my heart, but after completing my 4th season in tourism as a guide on a train, I left home on a 2 year visa in NZ that started November 2019. I love to chase summer and have successfully avoided winter for almost 3 straight years.

I love the mountains but also the ocean, don’t make me choose between the two. Always taking recommendations for hiking trails, also for going into the backcountry and wilderness camping. Currently travelling alone and sleeping in the back of my trusty red Honda CR-V whom I’ve named Maple, in true Canadian spirit.

Some of my biggest dreams & aspirations include long distance hiking on the PCT, AT (USA) & the TA track here in NZ. Taking my advanced PADI certification up to a Dive Master level.
