I grew in the Chicago area and moved out to DC after I finished school to leave my comfort zone and experience a new area. I spend most of my free time rock climbing, hiking, exploring DC, and hanging out with the amazing new people I have met here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing, because I love to travel and meet new people. Every time I travel the new people I meet make the experiences better. I also love the idea of sharing my city with people from all around the country and world!

Interests

Anything outdoors, climbing, exploring new places, playing cards, eating good food, checking out bars, music, and of course playing with my two cats!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: All over the board, from The Beatles to Lana Del Rey, but some current favorites are Hozier, and Hundred Waters.

Movies: Almost Famous, Garden State, Perks of being a Wallflower, Snatch.

Books: I love anything by Kurt Vonnegut or Ken Kesey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the amazing opportunity to do scientific research studying the impacts of pollution on coral reefs in Curacao!
