Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Jonathan Safran Foer & Haruki Murakami are everything. Hogwarts is always there to welcome you home. I love anything prose-y or thought provoking. And I have a soft spot for a good mystery.
Amélie, Grand Budapest Hotel (or anything Wes Anderson, for that matter), Into the Wild, Ginger & Rosa, Breakfast Club, Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Gone Girl are some movies I dig. Feed me all the cliché indie movies. Childhood favorites are Mary Poppins and the Aristocats. I have to be in a certain mood for movies. The book is always better.
Not a huge fan of top 100, rap, or metal-y stuff, but anything else is cool. I'm big on indie/alt rock, acoustic folky stuff, and electronic pop. I try not to box myself in.

I can help you perfect your pirouette or timestep if you like. I'll educate your ear off about celiac disease. I love learning about other people's views and backgrounds, and I'm always up for some open-minded conversation.
