About Me
I'm a (fairly) recent graduate who's now just working and trying to figure out her life! The one constant in my life has always been a love of travel. Which, I'm assuming, is why we're all here!
Likes: dogs, hiking, Foreign Policy Podcasts, The West Wing, live music, good beer, museums on cloudy days, a nice book with some fuzzy socks, and productive conversations about current events and global politics.
Dislikes: canned peas, narrow-minded people, vegan cheese, sugary coffee, and movies that are too loud in theatres.
Working-on-liking: superhero movies (I'm sorry, I just don't get the appeal) and applesauce.
Loves: wandering through a city early in the morning, hot coffee on a cold day, and a nice, long talk about little things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I work in travel and international education, I try my best to experience each new place beyond just hitting the tourist traps. I want to meet locals and find the best noodles wherever I go!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Summer of 2016, I'd just graduated from university and I was feeling stagnant. I became OBSESSED with the Grand Canyon. So finally, I convinced a friend of mind to take a spontaneous weekend road trip. We drove all night from Fort Collins, Colorado to the Arizona to see the sunrise at the Grand Canyon. We made it with 4 minutes to spare.
Looking out at the canyon was even more amazing than I ever could have imagined. That trip was well worth every kooky mishap along the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll be getting my TEFL certificate in Prague soon! I'm also a fairly proficient writer, publication designer, and video editor. I love to teach my tricks of the trade!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm also not to shabby at the ukulele and would be willing to teach any host/play you a song/join any band. I also know how to knit and crochet, and wouldn't be caught dead with out a handmade gift for you!
