I'm new to couchsurfing, but excited to join because so many of my friends have used it for years and love it. I'm finally at a place in my life where I have the freedom to travel often, so I want to do it in the most fulfilling way possible: by meeting new people and seeing where that leads me.

I am really bad at finding new music, but when I find music I love, I listen to it over and over and over. Currently on repeat: Coffee by Sylvan Esso

I also like Vampire Weekend, Alt-J (∆), Avett Brothers... that kind of stuff.

Movie I just saw and LOVED: Wilson. If nothing more comes out of me making this profile than you googling "Wilson" and illegally downloading it, this whole introspective nightmare was worth it.

As for books: I love good modern fiction, like The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls (even though that's technically a memoir) and Americanah by Chimamande Ngozi Adiche. Just finished The Sellout by Paul Beaty, that was pretty good too.
