Hi, my name is Erin! I am currently a undergraduate student at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) studying Sociology and Applied Psychology. I grew up in Los Angeles, California but am living Santa Barbara to pursue my studies.

In the Winter of 2018 I was fortunate enough to travel outside the United States for the first time and fell in love traveling, discovering, and learning about other countries and cultures. As an American, I think it is crucial for one to explore other nations globally and be open to learning the history and stories about each place you travel to. I believe traveling broadens your horizon exposing yourself to different cultures and is incredible to reflect it back to your own life and views of the world.

I also love food! I am probably the least picky person with food you will meet. I love tasting and exploring new foods especially with the company of other people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be traveling to the UK this March and will take a trip to Liverpool. Looking for a place to stay on the couch for one night!
