Hi Guys! My name is Erin. I live in upstate NY and have for most of my life. I am a married and have 2 beautiful daughters, Molly & Kennedy and a chihuahua named Franklin Delano Roosevelt. We are an "out of the box" kind of family which is apparent by our hair colors haha, guess we just like to express ourselves :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing bc I have been traveling state to state w my friends and husband volunteering for the Bernie Sanders campaign. After going to 3 states and staying at different homes along the way I realized that I didnt know how much good was out there. It had never occurred to me that strangers could be so accepting, kind, trusting & hospitable; truly a beautiful thing that I hope to continue experiencing :)

Interests

All things Bernie Sanders, haha. Anything outside: swimming, hiking, gardening, camping etc; just about anything that gets me out of the house. I also LOVE music, singing, and dancing, painting, and learning new things, especially with those I love most.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music, don't read enough books but wish I did, as for movies, I like movies that make you think or gets you right in the feels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done recently is volunteer for Bernie's campaign. I have always had a mild interest in politics but this campaign has awakened a fight inside me. On this journey I have realized that I can make a difference, that I can help fight for a better future for the children, and planet- and that's exactly what we are trying to do ;)
