I am a reader, runner, dog enthusiast, news junkie, who doesn't have a facebook account or an iphone. I've always been an old soul. I tend to be quiet around people I don't know very well, but can find common ground with almost anyone I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just joined Couchsurfing and am looking forward to hosting people once I finish renovating my spare room. So far I've been trying to get involved in the local Pittsburgh Couchsurfing group.

Interests

Showing off my erudition at bar trivia, hiking with my dog friend, sending people handwritten mail, seeking out good stories, and running even though it's trying to kill me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It took me ten years but I finally filled every page in my passport. Getting stuck in Peru and having two of my three exit stamps invalidated could be considered cheating though.

In 2010 I traveled to Mandalay to help set up two school libraries.
