ABOUT ME
Easy going, laid back, and pretty chill. Happy just sitting back with drinks and snacks and talking, or hitting the town for low key adventuring. Very appreciative of non-touristy, local favourites!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To paraphrase/mangle Sir Francis Bacon (sorry Frank!): "If I cannot go travel the world, then the world must then travel to me".
I'm currently not able to travel as often, nor as far afield as I would like to, so what better way to meet like-minded people and be exposed to all sorts of new things by being a CS host? It gives me the chance to show off the amazing region I live in, and I like nothing better than giving people the best overall experience that I'm able.
On the flipside, when I CAN travel, it's amazing to know there's this network of travel junkies just like me, who will return the favour with a smile and a couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to the whole couch surfing game, at least in the organized sense. There have been times in my past travels where awesome strangers have put me up in their spare rooms/tents/cots/whatever and it's been a fantastic experience every single time.
Interests
Everything. I love languages, music, food, books, photography, bad jokes, travelling, internet memes, fine (and not so fine!) wine, singing WAY off key, museums, and the thrill of shared experience. Anything goes, as long as it's in good company.
