ABOUT ME

Like most everyone in my generation, I want to save the world. My passion is fashion and I plan on saving the world by promoting vintage and fair trade apparel. But before saving the world, I must SEE the world and talk to its inhabitants. I like having a good time and can be outgoing with a few drinks, but I'm better in smaller groups. I love dancing, knitting, the outdoors and TRAVELING of course.

PHILOSOPHY

I kind of already answered this question in the "all about you" section but reiterated... I believe that I can make anything I want out of my life and I want to save the world through fashion. Or at least inform people about the injustices in the world caused by cheap labor exploitation and give them the opportunity to buy something that they can feel good about. I want to leave the Earth a better place when I die.

I've surfed quite a few couches and had some amazing people come stay on mine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During summer 2009 I traveled around Europe, visiting: Ireland, Scotland, England, The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Austria, Hungary and Norway. Most countries I stayed in hostels, but I stayed with some people on occasion and it was a blast. It's always a better experience when you can be with someone native to the area. Oh and I met my husband on couchsurfing:)

I'm currently listening to the XX, RJD2, Cut Copy, Thievery Corporation, Ratatat, Of Montreal, The Unicorns and many more.
I love Bill Bryson, most notably "A short history of nearly everything" because I love science and "My Horizontal Life" by Chelsea Handler because it makes me laugh so hard I pee.
My favorite movies are movies by Michel Gondry such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Science of Sleep. I also love Amelie, Auberge Espagnol anything with Audrey Hepburn...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I know that many people have backpacked across Europe, but I feel that is the most amazing thing I've ever done. It gave me the confidence that I can achieve anything I put my mind to. Nowhere is off limits to me, it created an urge to travel the world.

My specialization is in Fashion, so I'm a great personal shopper. I also can teach knitting and English. I would LOVE to learn anything new!!
