I've been a CSer since 2009, actually--I had a joint profile at http://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=6EOYWHFI have lots more feedback over there.Me: a friendly librarian who loves to play tour guide, but also has a strong independent streak and thus will understand if you just want to do your own thing.

I've met so many kind people! It's been great to reciprocate, help out, and learn new things along the way.

Art (enamel, painting, drawing), crafts (embroidering, sewing, stamp carving, many more), going to museums, reading, just strolling around and looking at the architecture, photography, hanging out in libraries, hiking, backpacking, and camping, going for walks the park, cooking and baking (and eating), good beer, traveling...

Music: bluesy rock, punk, classical, indie, old-skool jazz...it runs the gamut. Lately I've been really into Beach House, Tennis, and the Black Keys. Movies: I don't watch many movies--I like to create stuff instead. I do love The 400 Blows, Mulholland Drive, Taxi Driver, and Amelie.Books: Most recently, I've enjoyed The Hunger Games, The Wild Trees, and Freakonomics.
