ABOUT ME
I'm 20 years old. My parents and I participated in a Fulbright Exchange in 1998. We lived in a small town in Norway for one year. We traveled all over Europe while we were there. My love for the world began to grow then. In junior high, I started studying Spanish, and fell in love with the language and the culture. I studied abroad this past summer in Valparaiso, Chile. My anxiety to get out and see the world was reawakened. However, I lack the finances required to accomplish this, so I joined this site to help. :)
I'm a junior at Northern Michigan University. I am studying entrepreneurship and Spanish. I want to work in the music business. Although, if I could be a professional traveler, I'd do it in a heartbeat!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: anything! Mostly, I listen to indie rock, folk, and alternative. But I love anything latin-sounding, and anything with a good beat. I also love classical. A good symphony makes me beyond happy.
Books: I really like to read travel books. I also like Harry Potter, cookbooks, and most fiction.
Movies: I will watch anything except scary movies. Except I love a good zombie movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've been a part of was a summer solstice party in Norway when the sun didn't set for an entire day!
This was a tough choice because I've been fortunate enough to witness/be a part of a number of amazing things. Or maybe I just appreciate things more than some.
