CURRENT MISSION

I'm heading to the US on a student exchange at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign). I'm arriving in San Francisco mid-December 2014. I have about 3 or 4 weeks to spare between arriving in the US and going to Champaign, Illinois. At this stage I don't have any concrete plans about where I'll go and am looking to see where my adventures take me :)

ABOUT ME
I guess in terms of my social life I like going out to see live, original music, funky pubs and bars, good company and having a nice relaxing time... I love meeting and getting to know friendly and interesting people :)

In terms of my interests they are many and varied... I love music, but besides that I also like film (I have recently been revisiting a lot of tacky 80s films - the tackier the better), documentaries (particularly popular culture related doco's), literature and I'm partial to a bit of sport.

PHILOSOPHY

Umm... Live and let live? Don't sweat the small stuff? Ermmm... Make an effort to be a positive influence in the world... Stuff like that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few people and met up with a few more on top of that. Even when travelling within Australia, it has been a great way to find people to meet up with for a drink or to go to gigs with.
