About Me
Currently not accepting guests during these COVID-19 times. I hope you are doing well and staying safe!
I have been incredibly fortunate to have lived in many parts of Canada. During university I spent summers tree planting in northern Ontario and BC. After school, I jumped up Whitehorse, New Brunswick, Quebec, returning to northern Ontario and now BC again. Each place has opened my eyes to the vast diversity of culture and beauty of Canada. The travel list only grows longer...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is such an amazing way to see the new places from a local and unique perspective. There is no better way to learn about a culture and city than to see it first hand through someone who lives there.
I grew up in a house where new people were always welcome to stay. Its always been, and will continue to be, part of my life to connect to new people from all walks of life.
Interests
Adventure through any form- hiking, camping, canoeing, biking, skiing, snorkeling, etc. Will never turn down an opportunity to play a sport or learn any skill. I've dedicated the most time to ultimate frisbee.
I'm always looking to lessen my impact on the environment. I get around via bike and try my best to reduce and reuse.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Whitehorse, Yukon for a year and a half. It was such a great experience being in Canada's great white north. Beautiful landscape, such kind people and a great energy for life. The Yukon spirit definitely hooked me. I'll be back soon :)
A highlight was volunteering for the Yukon Quest- 1,000 Mile International Sled Dog Race. Check out the incredible dogs and mushers at https://www.facebook.com/YukonQuest?fref=ts.
