Overview
About Me
I live in a house in Los Angeles on a quiet street plenty of parking. It's close to the Gold Line so there is some public transportation, it's near Downtown and Echo Park. I live alone with a little bird. I'm transitioning from working in film production into starting my own business. I'll be traveling for work from May 13th till the end of June.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Around 4 years ago I begin to be acutely aware of the fact that I needed to make a change in my life. After devoting so many years to working in the film industry, I realized it wasn't where my heart was. I was looking for meaning that simply wasn't there working on 90210 and CSI. At that time I began the long and laborious process of building my gypsy caravan, The Vardo! I'm setting out on tour with the truck into Northern CA and OR to read cards on the road and meet new people. To see photos of the truck you can go to my website vardotarot.com. I need to have safe places to park along the way on my journey. I can sleep in the caravan, but there's no bathroom in it. It would be nice to have a safe and secure place to park and clean up after a day of traveling.
Interests
I'm an artist and a free spirit. I'm interesting in health and healing at all levels. I enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am always reading books right now I'm making my way through The Psychic Garden, Plants and Their Esoteric Relationship with Man by Mellie Vyldekt. I listen to music a lot but I also enjoy a quiet space. I used to like movies a lot more than I do now but the 1970's was an outstanding time for film making. The Holy Mountain is one of my all time favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to the Amazon jungle last year and I had the pleasure of holding a sloth.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a guest bedroom that has a single couch/bed. It would be good for 1 person.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, England, France, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru
