About Me

I am a freespirited individual, that tends to enjoy life and it's treasures in all sort of shapes and forms. I love spending time with valuable versatile people, I love listening to music while being active, I wnjoy reading a good book in a lazy day. All in all I just enjoy the act of enjoyment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I think that the best way to know some culture is through its people. And it doesn't really matter if you are going to some foreign country or some foreigners come and visit you. Both ways you learn a lot of things and the most important among them is that you learn to be tolerant and you and also a lot of new and interesting things about the others and their lifestyle as well. Also I'm here because I love learning and travelling. Also I have the luck to grow up in the oldest city in Europe and the 6th oldest in the world and through me it has to offer a lot to its guests (when I am there :D ). Currently I am living in Breda, the Netherlands. And soon I will be moving to Spain.

Interests

I'm quite verstile in my interests, I have a lot of hobbies and I like persuing them in their own time! History, politics, music, science, scene arts, fine arts, architecture and urban eploration, I enjoy good literature and do some creative writing, just for fun. I also love extreme sports, photography, travelling - seeing new things, people and places... Cooking is another passion of mine. And since it is my eduction, I enjoy playing games for research ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I love music, not just one genre but many, like: rock, grunge, punk, funk, jazz, swing, psychodelic, trance, techno, triphop, hiphop and last but not least - classical music - that are few of my favorite styles. Recently I have been getting more and more into oldschool gangsta hip hop and some chill lo-fi beats.

MOVIES: I am a fan of the quality cinema, that would mean I am not always up to date with all the new movies that come out. I prefer watching clasics. I enjoy Serbian cinema a lot, as it has it's big charm.
My favourite movie is Mr. Nobody. And my favourite director of all times is Stanley Kubrick, obviously because he is a brilliant genious. <3

BOOKS: I like reading books of different genra and autors, beacuse it gives me that feeling of getting to know a lot of different situations and contexts. Here are some of my favourite books: Dandelion Wine - Ray Bradberry, Catch 22, The Hitchhiker's Guide Through the Galaxy, 1984, Animal Farm, The Book Thief, Everything on the Table - Charles Bukowski, Tender is the Night, On the Road - Jack Kerouac.. I am also a big fan of all the books of Terry Pratchett and especially the ones based in the Disk World. I also enjoy a lot of good Bulgarian literature, sadly you would probably not know the autors. Also as I am an artists I ocassionally enjoy some good anatohomy books too.

I really find it impossible to summarize all my tastes in a few lines, since they spill around and mix like like the oceans. But I could say I really enjoy quality forms of self expression.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everyday is an adventure. I have done and I do many amazing things :) But here are a few:

- I have spent 5 years being a volonteer for the Red Cross.
- I have spent the night in an abandent mental hospital in Belgium, met bunch of random people, and managed to scare some.
- I moved to a new country without knowing anybody and started a new life only with two suitcases, and soon I will do it again.
- I once sirvived for a month on a wild beach in Bulgaria with only 20 euros, I came home with a new tent, sunscream, new blankets and bunch of new amazing friendships.
- In some point I had a Grunch band and we had a blast together
- A summer ago I hitchiked from the Netherlands to Bulgaria, visiting bunch of friends on the way, and meeting some new amazing people on the way.
