I'm from WIsconsin, USA. My Wife and I have mostly used warmshowers while checking out the americas by bike in 2010-2012. I'm now back in WI, enjoying my favorite state.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are currently only using CS to meet people and for accommodation, but will gladly offer a couch, and food and advice for travelers upon completion of this trip

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we are brand new to CS (as of November, 2010), but we have stayed with dozens of people through warmshowers.org

lots of music, esp. Jazz: Coltrane, Miles, almost anything on Blue Note from the 50s/60s, Billie Holiday, etc. Also into rock n roll: classic stuff like Stones, CCR, Zep, and new stuff like Black Keys, My morning Jacket.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the white mountains in peru are pretty spectacular. So is the midnight sun in the arctic. one time in Ecuador, a guy pointed a gun at my wife and I and told us we couldn't camp where we were and that we had to stay with him. WE did, for 3 days. We roasted a guinea pig on a fire in the middle of his house.
