About Me

ABOUT ME: I’m a fun and outgoing girl who loves to travel and see the world. I really appreciate new and different experiences. I graduated from the University of Guelph in Psychology about a year ago and am looking to expand my horizons! I worked in the psychology field as an instructor therapist for children with ASD as well as caring for adults with severe developmental disabilities in group homes. I decided one day that that path was not for me and (very last minute) came to the United States with my boyfriend to grow our powerlifting brand. We arrived late October and have been incredibly successful thus far! Through the brand being popular online, we have come across so many excellent opportunities for growth here in the states. We’ve been travelling all across the U.S to attend powerlifting meets, selling our merchandise as well as photography packages. Through all the craziness, we have been so grateful to all that have helped us along the way. Our hearts are open to meeting and learning from people all over.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I am relatively new to couch surfing, I have come to learn that this community of amazing people are incredibly inclusive and are always looking out for each other. Adventure seekers like myself often know the struggle of finding somewhere to stay. Couch surfing solves this and introduces one to new experiences that others might overlook by getting a hotel, airbnb etc. After learning about south surfing and the potential people that I could meet along the way while traveling, I signed up in an instant. I’ve had one Couchsurfing experience so far, and it was nothing but positive. I was hosted by such kind hearted, down to earth people. I loved exchanging stories and learning from them. Couch surfing has really inspired me to open my mind and get out there and explore! The world is meant to be seen, explored and experienced in all sorts of ways and couch surfing provides that!
