About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to save the world. one couch moocher/mooching at a time.
ABOUT ME
I spent the earlier part of my life (which, i suppose one could argue this still IS the earlier part of my life) with my wonderful parents and older brothers in the beautiful mountains of northeastern Tennessee. I'd wake most mornings to my Daddy singing songs about Appalachia or my Mama playing old church hymns on our upright. My heart is still somewhere deep in those mountains.
I moved to one-stoplight Boiling Springs, NC officially in the spring of 2008 where I became a barista/physical therapist assistant/piano teacher. Prior to this move, I had spent four years studying music composition at a small university in the same town. I love the community in this place and the willingness of those here to open up their homes and lives to one another.
I have been a bit of a transient for the past few years, moving to and from Pennsylvania hip hop music courses for a nonprofit, taking random road trips, etc.
Most recently, I have moved to Charlotte, NC, where I write and sing songs in the music room and watch squirrels chase each other in the front yard. I'd love to show you around the city, even if I'm unable to host at the time!
See you soon :)
PHILOSOPHY
Instead of regretting, learn from it and move on.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am an advocate for sharing our lives with one another in creative, new, and practical ways. It should be a no-brainer to open our homes to one another and to do so with a mutual respect that should go without even saying.
How do participate in this project? By joining all others in this project that are in on the "no-brainer" of sharing our lives together. It's what this world needs: a humanity that shares with one another.
