I have moved back to Texas, and am learning how to make shoes. I am also teaching art at an arts high school here and personally assisting several professional ladies and tutoring a third grader.
I like to cook and eat with people.
I like to play pool.
I like to read.

I am usually able to host and and often able to surf.

Interests

covers of songs, weaving, kilim rugs, good recipes, baking tricks, good electric fans, theoretical economics, science, geology, herbs in my lemonade, mythology (especially Norse), things that glitter, things that don't, punctuation, cinnamon toast, grammatical structure, absorbing information like a sponge, epic music, especially Ennio Morricone. I also like most animals, and beautiful shoes, and getting lost, but not hopelessly so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have stood inside of a cloud on a mountain in Santa Ana , Mexico in the middle of a thunderstorm. It felt like standing inside of a ghost.
Also, in Chattanooga, TN, I bore witness to the most profane and simultaneously beautiful use of florescent paint, gnomes, and black lights in a cave.
Also, watching a huge wildfire from the top of a mesa in Santa fe occur simultaneously with the moon rise. It looked like a miniature sunrise.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to throw darts quickly and relatively accurately, how to make pie charts as well as line graphs, how to diagnose Geographic Tongue, do a chin up, win at rock, paper, scissors, attract strange men in strange places (though that may not be something one can learn), punctuate correctly, make pesto, do a lot of other things. I don't know; ask me and you shall receive.

You could teach me how to:
do a cartwheel
arm wrestle like a tough person (I have bony elbows, I'm terrible)
speak French without atrocious pronunciation
teach me to roll my r's.
perform CPR
