ABOUT ME
After working as an administrative assistant and art teacher at a Montessori school for several years, I recently cut my involvement in order to travel. I started a new career in real estate 2 years ago in hopes that it will allow me more time and resources to travel and focus on my art work.
PHILOSOPHY
Never give yourself the opportunity to look back with regret
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I joined Couchsurfing several years ago when I couchsurfed up the west coast of the US from San Diego to Seattle. Since then, I have met dozens of wonderful people from all over the world and have built relationships with many of them! I have cut down on hosting these days due to my busy lifestyle. However, I still host occasionally when I can. I also enjoy getting to know local surfers in my area as well. Denver has a GREAT CS community!
Interests
Climbing, hiking, camping, live music, drawing, painting, good beer, dancing, meeting new people
Music, Movies, and Books
Live music - I love bluegrass, classic rock, funk, blues, jam-bands, indie/folk, and everything in between. Really, I just like to dance!
80% of the time I will fall asleep during movies. I'm probably one of the worst people to watch movies with. Chances are, if you have me watching a movie, I'll also be knitting/crocheting so that I stay awake.
I love scifi books, war books, and a lot of non-fiction. My favorite book is The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien
Teach, Learn, Share
I brew my own kombucha. If anyone is interested in trying it or learning how to brew, I'm happy to go over the basics.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Mexico, Norway, Scotland, Sweden
