About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live instead of just being alive.
ABOUT ME
I am a wannabe traveller only recently bitten by the travelling bug. Turns out hanging with couchsurfers and hearing all their incredible stories makes you realise there is an amazing fantastical world out there just waiting for you to explore. I've spent a lot of time living the hermit life, only venturing out for food and water, existing only because of the kindness (read:obligation) of my family. I want more from life. It's time to get social. It's time to live life to the fullest.
I'm very laid-back. I can seem very quiet and reserved a lot of the time (hermit), but once you get me going I can banter with the best of 'em. I feel most at home with a guitar on my lap and the ocean right in front of me. I like learning about -and from- people. I'm loving every new discovery interacting with other humans is bringing me, and I can't wait to find more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was adopted into the Melbourne couchsurfing community when I shared a house with a couple of regulars for 9 months last year. And it was the greatest surprise of my life! The people, their experiences, knowledge and sense of adventure; I couldn't have created in my most vivid daydreams the spectacular array of individuals I met. They each inspired and enriched my life in a way I would never have expected. I am so grateful.
Interests
Hiking, playing guitar, singing, reading (I may be slightly addicted), writing, making inappropriate jokes in the most awkward of situations, wandering (seemingly) aimlessly and finding something unique/interesting/wonderful.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read. Seriously. Some people who love me very much were talking about staging an intervention.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing things I've experienced usually only last for a moment. It's in that one instant or encounter or conversation where there is just a spark between two people. Whether it be a spark of wonderment, or understanding, or learning, or even just the shared humanity of a smile with a stranger passing you by. I love the feeling in that moment, and the look on someone's face when you know they felt it too.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have so much to learn, about anything you wish to share. I want to open my mind to things I've never even considered before.
What could I teach you? Probably some guitar, if you would like. I also make chicken noodle soup that is edible.
