i love traveling, duh, and have quite loved hosting houseguests of my own acquaintance.

ABOUT ME

I'm a reasonably chill girl living in Brooklyn. i'm from California, have two great dogs. uh, what else . . . I have a somewhat acid sense of humor and am a bit shy at first but i have landed softly on the lawn of the world many a time (ie, crashed with strangers) and I would love to return the favor.

I live in an apartment in Williamsburg. Anyway it's fairly decent sized apartment, sparsely furnished, has a rotating cast of large drooly dogs in it. I now (oh the shame) frequently rent the spare room through that other voldemort of sites, and so (IMPORTANT PART) don't accept couch requests that are more than a day or so in advance. But I am still Johnny on the spot when it comes to last minute stuff: if there's no one in the spare room you're more than welcome to it. Last minuters, write me!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

did some surfing summer '07, and summer '10, now that i've got the bug i want to travel more.

also- I'm not home overmuch so I'm a better fit with someone who has things they want to do or potentially just wants some quiet time (i remember that the pressure to be 'on' all the time used to get to me in my second month).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Dd some amazing csing in Paris/Berlin/New mexico/Tucson and I can't wait to do more! Also friend couches but also friends of friends and then the hitchhiking and the floors, tents, etc. South america and the US mostly. I'm a firm believer in the human internet- ie, conversations.
