I currently work as a writer/editor in Toronto. I'm a quiet, clean traveler respectful of other people's spaces. I usually arrive in a new city with an itinerary that I've pleasurably agonized over for months, with room built in for spontaneity, of course :) That being said, I love getting personal recommendations from locals.

Having lived in Copenhagen, Ho Chi Minh City, Toronto and Montreal, I believe that traveling is one of the best ways to learn about yourself and others, and I'm always planning for my next adventure. My favourite places are Japan, Turkey and Sweden.

I recommend Couchsurfing to friends and occasionally surf for short periods. I've couchsurfed in Austin, Halifax, Luxembourg, and stayed with friends all over Europe.
