About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm still trying to figure this out.
ABOUT ME
All about me hey? wow. How do you even begin talking about this? Grew up in a middle class family in East Vancouver. I enjoy the arts- not necessarily very talented at them but enjoy them nonetheless. I love reading and writing (poetry mostly), I would probably describe myself as a social activist. I really enjoy living in and visiting other countries, to see how people around the world live, and I look forward to doing this more in the next few years. I also love playing soccer/football; hoping to find a team to play on in Edinburgh. I love working with children, especially children with Autism.
I very much value my family and close friends. I have a nephew and two nieces, with another niece on the way! I love my husband too, although I think that's a given.
I think that's enough about me for now.
PHILOSOPHY
I have a lot of feelings and thoughts. Not sure what my personal philosophy is. I think it's to live my life wholistically, constantly learning and rethinking things. I don't think I've ever really articulated this before- it's more just inside me, and in the way I choose to live and interact with people.
Act justly, love mercy and walk humbly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined couch surfing, so I'm just feeling things out a bit. But I'm excited about the possibilities. I can be a little bit shy at first so I think this will challenge me to meet new people and get over that shyness.
