I was born in Minnesota, went to college in Wisconsin, and have spent the last couple years in Chicago for work and now more school. Slowly working my way south, but haven't quite parted ways with the Midwest yet.

I'm brand new to couch surfing, and hope to meet some interesting people!

running, especially when the destination of a run involves delicious food.
biking, especially to explore a city.
a good beer, especially when homebrew turns out right.
cooking, especially recipes that involve a few simple, but delicious flavors.
dancing, especially when it's spontaneous.
going to see live music, no especially here, it's all good to me.

Like a lot of people, I can appreciate a variety of things... Here are some current interests:
Music, I could listen to anything with electric guitar endlessly. There's been a lot of B.B. and Lucille lately.
Books, The Perfect Pint. It's a great intro to beer culture and written by 2 women, which is pretty awesome.
The last movie I saw was The Cove, it reminded me of how awesome a good documentary can be.
