About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To never say "shoulda, woulda, coulda."
PHILOSOPHY
To take advantage of everything, no regrets. And travel, travel, travel. Own it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just finished traveling Asia for six months and tried to take advantage of couch surfing as much as possible. Now that I am back in the States, I want to continue meeting new people and help some fellow travelers out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met a few people and stayed overnight at a fellow couch surfers. I love the concept, I just have a hard time planning ahead enough to know where I am going to be in order to arrange more contacts.
Interests
Travel is my main interest and I feel like I was raised to work to play. I am always planning my next adventure, local or international and I think it is really important to get yourself out of your comfort zone and experience new places and people.
When I am not jet setting, I live in Denver where I live with my boyfriend. We try to have adventures on a weekly basis; either by visiting a local micro brew or going up into the mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books
If I could have a personal soundtrack running at all times for my everyday actions, I would. I love how music effects moods and situations and rarely go a few days without listening to something.
Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me, Amalie, Once, Usual Suspects, etc..
Books: Siddhartha, Kite Runner, Shantaram, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Poisonwood Bible, etc... Reading is very important to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the amazing opportunity to travel South East Asia by myself for six months. Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I am able to remind myself that I climbed Annapurna, so I can do anything :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have my Master's in social work and for the past two years have specifically worked with the mentally ill. I really enjoy that population and feel confident in my knowledge and skill base to work with that community. I am always willing to discuss the helping profession and really find it interesting how other countries respond to social workers and social service agencies.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Fiji, France, Guatemala, India, Ireland, Italy, Nepal, New Zealand, Portugal, Venezuela, Virgin Islands, British
Countries I’ve Lived In
