About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Showing my 6 year old the world, finishing a master's degree
ABOUT ME
I've settled back in my hometown, Vancouver. Immersed in contemporary art, particularly where it intersects with film and photography. I've been making a lot or work related to landscape or the domestic (featuring my daughter and her community) Previously I've lived 10 years in Japan and had extensive travels elsewhere. I'm really interested in experimental documentary at the moment, and plan to film a 16mm documentary in Fukushima in June 2011. I also love food, travel, languages, reading, film, scuba diving, hiking and snowboarding.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is to be lived with courage for yourself, passion, and respect for others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to open my home to travelers/artists and exchange creative ideas and culture. I hope to introduce other participants to Vancouver, Vancouver Island and help them find out about the local arts scene.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Everywhere I have visited, I have made friends and been invited into the home of many. Couch surfing is a way to have a truly local and alternative experience.
