About Me

I live to love, love to laugh, and never say no to an adventure! I love the outdoors and just about any sport, but my favourites are snowboarding, sailing, ball hockey, volleyball, and beersbie :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best website on the internet. If everything else crashed, but couchsurfing remained (along with blablacar and captaintrain) the world could still survive.

Interests

Family, friends, laughing, snowboarding, ball hockey, beach volleyball, all sports actually, anything outside, la decroissance / degrowth, international development, beers and patios and sunshine, Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell, cooking, eating ...

I spent a year travelling the world, and found my passion of international development which led me to France for a masters and the Alps, which is where I fell in love with degrowth / la decroissance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being super scared to leave the comforts of home to travel for a year, but doing it anyways and finding my passions along the way.

Roadtripping around the SW US camping and hiking in the national parks with my parents. Bioluminescent plankton lighting up around me like fairy dust when swimming at night off the coast of Cambodia. Hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, but loving the Ciudad Perdida trail in Colombia way more. Eating curries for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in SE Asia. Roadtripping in Europe with my mom. I left home wondering what my passions were, and returned with a backpack full of them.
