About Me

PLEASE NOTE:
If you are simply copying and pasting a request to surf my couch, please don't bother, I won't accept you anyway. For me, couchsurfing is not mainly about finding cheap accommodation but meeting new people. My flat is not a hostel and you have to take an interest in who I am for me to host you.

CURRENT MISSION

Not to let the bedbugs bite.

ABOUT ME

I'm a curious half swede, half american with travelling in my blood. I have many interests and too little time to follow them all through.
My (so far) two years of living abroad, in Australia and Spain, have generally been some of the best times of my life. A big part of that is all the fascinating and interseting meetings with people from other continents and cultures. That's why I joined couch surfing - for the unexpected encounters that broaden the mind.

PHILOSOPHY

A bit blurry at the moment. When it comes to life and what to do about it, I mostly just wing it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people in Malmö and hang out with other CS-friends in the area. When I'm abroad I occasionally surf couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfing in New York, Prague and the quaint little town of Ashland, Wisconsin. Hosting a string of nice people from the four corners of the globe in Malmö during the last few years. And making new friends via Couch Surfing on the home front as well.

Interests

Singing, playing classical music, Lindy hop dancing, trekking, kayaking, sailing and outdoor-activities in general. Cooking, writing and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

Swing music (cherry poppin' daddies, big bad voodoo daddy), classical music, choral music. Books: 1984, anything by Jules Verne, Captain Correlli's mandolin, The pilars of the earth, among a lot of others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess going to Australia for one year and living in a host family when I was only 17 was probably the most amazing thing I've done so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you anything you would like to know about Sweden, how to cook proper swedish meatballs or enjoy raw pickled herring in a gazillion different varieties. I can teach you how to juggle (three balls, four is more tricky) or do some prettys silly magic with playing cards. To name a few things.

Countries I’ve Visited

Chile, Ecuador, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Spain, Sweden
