About Me

I run an international vegan advocacy organization, and I have a large network across the country that would support vegans and wanna-be vegans, family/friends of vegans etc. in finding great vegan resources across the US and beyond. If you are on Facebook, there is a Vegan State group for every state, we run all but Vegan Arizona I can speak and understand some basic conversational Spanish, German, Russian, and French. I have a linked-in profile for more comprehensive information on my professional and educational history. I am an honorably discharged and decorated USAF Desert Storm Era veteran, I've been vegan since 2000, a have a clean legal record, don't smoke, don't do drugs, will have an occasional glass of wine, love animals and have no allergies. I'm tidy, have good personal hygiene and respectful of others, leave the space as I found it, if not cleaner than when I found it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently traveling back to Ohio from California and I'm on a very low budget to do so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

VeganShift put 500 free shirts on the backs of the vegans in the vegan hub at The People's Climate March in NYC on Sep 21st 2014. What was so cool about it is that with 440,000 people in the march, the vegan shirts eventually went viral throughout the masses over time and there were vegan shirts sending an educational vegan message throughout the entire population of participants.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can certainly teach vegan ethics and share my favorite vegan products and recipes.
